English & AI: Language, Technology, and Learning – Workshops at Illizi University

On Monday, April 21, 2025, the University Centre of Illizi hosted a series of hands-on workshops under the theme “English Language and Artificial Intelligence: Language, Technology, and Learning.”

The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Letters and Languages, the Institute of Science, and the House of Artificial Intelligence, and aimed to introduce students and professors to modern AI tools and their applications in the field of English language learning.

Workshops covered a variety of topics including Prompt Design, Generative AI, AI-assisted Academic Writing, Smart Translation, and Summarizing Theses in English.

The event saw wide participation and enthusiastic engagement, reflecting the growing interest in integrating technology into higher education.
