National Conference
“New Teaching Trends in Education, ICT and Economics”
Arguments: There is nothing permanent except change, says Heraclitus, the pre–Aristotelian Greek philosopher. Change is the law of nature. A trend is an overall propensity for or direction of change. Given the variety of educational alternatives accessible to today’s students, innovative educational trends appear to have evolved that have completely altered the conventional educational system. In the past 20 years, there has been a significant shift in the number of voices striving to liberate themselves from the constraints of conventional teaching methods, particularly in the TEFL area. Over time, there have been changes in the relationship between subject-matter issues (the what), instructional activities (the how), and teachers and students included (the who) in studies of teachers and teaching (Klette, 2007). For that, the term “teaching practices” is used to describe the many approaches and strategies that teachers design their pedagogy (Krainer, Goffree, & Berger, 1999) The scope of this conference includes engaging subject areas that address the significant developments that have occurred in EFL. It aims to bring together academics, practitioners and policymakers to discuss issues, tackle real challenges, develop professionally, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities in education, ICT and Economics.
